Making baby girl dresses/ How to make a corsage.

Making baby girl dresses.

I made a dress for my daughter's first birthday party. It is already six years ago.

I invited family and friends to my baby's first birthday party. I rented party places. And I prepared food and gifts to treat guests. A party like this needs a lot of money. So, Not all babies open the party like this. (Unlike my daughter's first birthday party, On the first birthday of my son, only family gathered for meals.)
I needed a baby dress and my dress. I thought it would be costly to borrow a dress that I would wear for a few hours. So I decided to make it myself. I thought it would be a more meaningful birthday party dress, if I made it myself. I did not know how to use a sewing machine and I sewed it by hand. I made it for two weeks. I took care of my daughter, and made it when I had time. So it took a long time. I saved about 1/3 of the cost of garment preparation.

There was a lot of articles about the process of making a dress on a blog. I made a lot of reference. But I did not know how much the fabric needed. So I bought it at my discretion.

My Shopping Information
Satin ivory - 1 yard
Satin gold -1 yard
Satin stripes ivory -1 yard
Lining white -1 yard
Lining beige -1 yard
Mesh ivory -2 yard
Console zippers -2 yard
Silk Wick -1 yard

With this, I was able to make a baby dress and my dress. I also made a corsage. I lent this dress to another baby 's birthday party. The process of making it was difficult, but I used the dress meaningfully. I still have it because it was a dress I made for my daughter. The daughter who wore this little dress has grown a lot now.

How to make a corsage

Note that! Create a corsage.

Cut the satin cloth into circles.
At this time, the circles are cut in different sizes.
The edge of the circle burns lightly.
Place small circles on large circles in order.
Stitch the center of the circle and attach the beads.
